Alf Filapaina is an Auckland Councillor and a former Police Officer and joins us to talk about Labour's announcement on youth crime.
Alf is very experienced in the area of youth crime and brings a perspective from the community where many of these issues are happening and from someone who used to work in the justice system as a police officer.
Two of the interesting points that Labour is promoting is making ot a contributing offence if the crimes are put on social media and going after adults if they are putting youth up to the crimes committed more accountable.
