We begin this resilience practice with a story of a tree on a desert island, surviving and adapting to the climate and occasional hurricanes. Using the metaphor of a tree in a storm, we explore or own unique qualities, our softness and our strength. We will practice becoming self-aware and compassionately and honestly look inward to help separate ourselves from our limiting beliefs. Explore and become curious about the beliefs and fears that come up, and see what you can release. Resilience grows in us with each new experience life brings, if we are open to learning.
