It's the Monday Morning Mailbag for August 12, 2024, the power outage episode!
I've been catching up on things due to the massive storm we had at the beginning of last week. it knocked out power to 350,000 residents and businesses here in Northeast Ohio. Getting power back has been a slow and arduous process. I was without power for three to four days. Others still don' t have power and won't get restored until the 14th or 15th.
Utility poles, trees, etc. were snapped in half or uprooted. Many utility poles are leaning in a 45-degree angle. Some roads are still not passable.
