Terry Dennis founded Kaya-Pêche in 2018 out of a passion for the outdoors. Originally from the island of Tobago in the West Indies, Terry spent his younger days watching elders commune with the sea. Building bamboo rafts, he and his comrades would also set sail to imitate the region's stronger fishermen & women.
“We didn’t grow up wanting to become movie stars or basketball players, we watched those around us maneuver boats and apply fishing techniques that we only hoped to emulate, one day”.
Canada might offer a different landscape than the Caribbean, but Dennis is constantly reminded that the outdoors is a broad and uneven space that requires us to adapt. With that, he sees no obstacle.
He structures his business to offer adventurers the best experience based on the four seasons Quebec offers us.
