POWER WILL COME UPON YOU
We are watching society move in a concerning direction. Is there anything we can do about it? God created women to be powerful influencers in family and in society. Just look at how the story of Christ coming into the world began. The story of our faith was birthed when an angel came to Mary-a woman- and informed her that the power of the Holy Spirit would come upon her and change the world forever. The church itself was birthed in the first chapter of Acts when the power of God came upon men and women in the upper room of Pentecost.
From the beginning God‘s plan was for his people, both men and women, to be powerful. So why do we so often feel powerless when we look at our personal situations or society at large? Because there are things that we inadvertently do to give our power away.
This teaching is about walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and also exposing things that we do to forfeit that power. This sermon will inspire you to walk in the power that the Holy Spirit offers to you no matter what you might be facing.
