Jesus says in our Gospel “ask and you shall receive” but sometimes it seems as if our prayers fall on deaf ears. How can we reconcile this experience in light of Christ assurance that he who asks receives and he who seeks finds? Homily 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C July 28th, 2019.
