Episode 16 of “Not Your Average Joel” is now out! This is a vacation edition as we are in Panama City Beach and I got to talk to some of my family members on the topic of honesty. During this episode we spoke about the story of Rahab from the Bible and whether she was rewarded for lying to save the two spies in Jericho. We also spoke about what the Bible says about lying, whether there is such a thing as being too honest, is a a half truth still a lie, if lying is just as bad as other sins, if a “little white lie” is just as bad as a “normal lie”, and whether you lose complete trust in someone lying/betraying you, and of course the importance of being honest.
