Martine Harris is the President and Co-Founder of the non profit, Travel & GIVE, and Author of Dear Haiti, You’re Not Who They Think You Are.
Since 2017, Martine has been recruiting volunteers to support teachers in schools and provide hands-on-therapy for children in orphanages presenting with congenital, physical, cognitive, and mental disabilities in Haiti. Travel & GIVE has recently
expanded to Nairobi, Kenya.
In January of 2020, Martine released her first book, Dear Haiti, You’re Not Who They Think You Are, which is a compilation of her journal entries documenting her journey through the awkward, controversial, humorous, and catastrophic events while living in Haiti.
Martine currently lives in Los Angeles, California where she works as a Speech and Language Pathologist. When she isn’t recruiting volunteers, giving back, or planning the next fundraiser, you can catch her journaling, socializing, listening to music, watching hilarious dog videos, or traveling the world looking for the next adventure.
