Welcome back. My name is Dickson Hunley and this is another Tell Me Something Great Tuesday. You know what that means, it’s that one day of the week that you share what it is that is making you smile, what is making you happy and what you’re grateful for with someone else and ask them what it is that they are grateful for. I’m not going to let you go through this alone. I’m going to start us off. Are you ready to spread some happiness and gratitude as far as we can together? Alright, let’s get in to it.
Today I’m grateful for barking dogs. Not the kind that keep you up all night yapping. I’m talking about the metaphorical kind. Barking dogs are those people in your life who see you growing, improving, making your life better and the world a better place and do nothing but yap negativity at you. You see, dogs don’t bark at parked cars. These dogs see you moving forward and want to bark and yap to try to hold you back with them. And why do they want to hold you back? I’ll tell you. Do you know what misery loves? That’s right. Misery loves company. And if you’re moving forward and they aren’t, then you’re leaving them behind. They are going to bark to try to hold you back with them. The more you grow, the more they bark. That’s why I am always grateful for barking dogs. They are a sign that you are making progress towards your goals.
I have to thank my friend Elena for reminding about barking dogs. Elena is an amazing artist and lately she has been encountering some barking dogs of her own. She handled then like a professional and a person who is seeking out more and better ways to grow in positivity. In doing so she reminded me of some of my own dogs and how grateful for how far I’ve come and how much farther I have to go. Thank you so much Elana. I really appreciate it.

Now it is your turn. Leave a comment what it is that you are grateful for and share this show with your friends so that they can share what it is that they are grateful for. Let’s see how many people we can bring some joy to today.
