Through the wonders of the internets, games don’t have to be a communal experience in an (oftentimes cramped) living room. Why would we want to go back to having to lug around systems, controllers, or--heaven forbid--sharing snacks and couch space with others to play a game?
Intimacy. Connection. And even, for us older folks: a little nostalgia.
