On Episode 45 of the $300 Startup Podcast...

There I am, in the field, with my heart racing, wondering if I should hold my ground or flee.

About 10 yards away stands the reason for my higher heart rate and current dilemma.

It's twenty-four hundred pounds of aggression & muscle

...it's a bull!

This thing hated that I was there,

was making all type of noises and snarls,

and was looking dead at me.

Strangely enough, I've been here before, this isn't the first time I've had this fight.

I found a strategy that has worked in the past to not panic the bull.

If I panic him, I'm going to be in some serious danger.

I know that if I run, the bull will chase me.

I know that if I scream at it, I will anger it.

I know that if I anger it, I have no chance of getting it to listen to me.

I have to make it feel like it's in control, like it's his idea to go away.

I just have to nudge him in the direction I want him to go, and remove all the other options available to him.
