After listening to the message, share your answers to the following questions with a small group of people and encourage them to do the same.
- How has the collapse of our systems and norms forced you to face the dead areas in your life? Are there any areas of subtle sin, unhealthy habits, or false beliefs about who you are or who God is?
- How are you like the Pharisees in presenting yourself as a clean cup but have a dirty inside? Or as a whitewashed tomb who looks nice but is dead and dying on the inside?
- What dead attitude or habit or way of thinking do you need to repent from and give to God?
Two questions for reflection and prayer:
- If someone was to come you looking for life and hope, will they find a dead person pretending to be alive? Or will they find a living person who was once dead?
- Do you have clean hands and a pure heart?
