In Matthew chapter 9, verses 12 and 13, Jesus says, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Jesus was challenging the cultural norm of his day, and he is still calling us to live counter-culture today.
