In these very strange and difficult days, the stress, anxiety, and depression can be very real and very, very powerful.

But there is a tool we all possess to stop the cycle of negative emotions that keep us mired in these states.

This tool is called acceptance.

But acceptance doesn’t mean acquiescence. Or being passive to your situation and surrendering the power to change.

In fact, acceptance is an active, strength-based act.

But because it doesn’t necessarily come naturally, it requires practice.
