Mindfulness practices have helped me in virtually every facet of my life.
The reduction of stress, the increase of physical and mental health, and the emotional intelligence I’ve experienced have allowed me to be a person I never thought I could be and accomplish things I never thought I’d be able to accomplish.
But no area of my life has been impacted more dramatically than my parenting.
Learning to live in the present moment, without judgment, has allowed me to be more patient with my kids, to set a better emotional example for them, and to connect with them on an emotional level.
The benefit of all this far exceeds anything that correcting my kids' behavior could ever do.
