Description

As a teacher and practitioner of mindfulness AND heartfulness, compassion is very important to me.

And while I see compassion as a 360° intention, abundant research is showing self compassion, specifically, to be associated with many aspects of psychological health.

Increased happiness, life satisfaction, curiosity, and optimism, and decreased anxiety, depression, rumination, isolation, and eating disorders are topped by what I feel is the most important benefit of all: emotional resilience.

And the best news of all about self compassion is that it’s so easy to practice!!!

Not only is it easy, but it feels great, too!!!

Check out this audio for an illustration of how self compassion works and let me know if you’d like to learn some super simple practices to develop self compassion in your life.
