When we practice mindfulness and self compassion, we are able to look deeply into ourselves without judgment or shame.
And from this inquiry, we start to see what triggers our emotional response and why.
As we begin to connect these dots for ourselves, it gives way to the ability to see the source in others’ dysregulation.
And as we keep practicing, we find that we needn’t fully know what someone else is going through in order to give them space and, in turn, protect ourselves in the process.
