This week we interview Mark Dennebaum from Scranton who is running for school board. Read his vision for the future of Scranton.
I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Scranton School Board Primary Election on May 16th. As the son of an educator who devoted over 20 years to the profession, I grew up with a deep respect for the transformative power of education. I know firsthand how important it is to ensure that our children have access to a safe, nurturing, and academically rigorous learning environment.
That's why, if elected to the school board, my top priorities will be to bring back pre-K education, to prioritize the safety of our students, and to ensure that every child receives the best education possible. I believe in a transparent curriculum that values the diverse experiences of all our students. And I am committed to working collaboratively with other members of the school board, as well as with parents, teachers, and community members, to make informed and effective decisions that benefit all our students.
I am honored to have the opportunity to serve our community in this capacity, and I humbly ask for your support and your vote.
