Recruiters need to communicate effectively too! Too often candidates get the blame for moving on to another job/recruiter, but this can be down to the recruiter communicating poorly with them. 

As a recruiter, setting the standard for how you expect communication to take place is vital. We're here to listen to your needs and bring them to life. If you feel uncomfortable speaking on the phone, we're ready to adapt our communication to suit your needs. 

Explaining the hiring company's schedule is also really important so that the candidate can understand the urgency and speed of their recruitment process.

It's up to recruiters to build the foundations of a relationship between themselves and candidates. Candidates are more likely to communicate effectively and let recruiters know if they can't attend an interview if the foundations are strong already, and a relationship has begun to be built.

We also discuss following up with candidates and making sure you're establishing the recruitment journey early on for candidates, so they can fully grasp the process.
