Thank you to everyone who has been tuning in to Good Sex @NYU. It is winter break at NYU and we hope everyone gets a chance to rest. We are taking a break too. The Good Sex @NYU podcast team has decided to re-release some of our favorite episodes from fall semester. We hope you enjoy listening to these episodes for the first time, if you missed the initial release, or listening to them again and possibly hearing new insights you missed the first time around. We will continue our first season with new episodes in a couple of weeks.
Join April & Danielle as they engage in conversation with Ra Ra Rollins. Ra Ra is a Student Advocacy Specialist in the Office of Student Affairs at Tandon. He is also a graduate of Steinhardt with a Master's Degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness. As a mental health clinician, Ra Ra prioritizes BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients and celebrates those with intersectional identities. In this interview, we discuss first crushes, the struggle to obtain factual information when sex and sexuality are not discussed at home or in school, and the importance of finding a medical and mental health provider that you trust. The conversation might make you laugh, might make you feel less alone, and will hopefully make you think about how your own journey influences you today.
