Today on Good Sex @NYU, Dr. Marybec Griffin joins the podcast. Dr. Griffin holds a PhD in Social and Behavioral Health Science from NYU and is a professor at NYU and Rutgers University. She is a trained doula, certified sexologist, and co-creator of Dr. Period Hackers, a menstrual health research education collective.
In part 2 of our discussion, Dr. Griffin compares condom negations with COVID-19 mask regulations and discusses the challenges that arise when navigating these conversations. She also shares how her attachment style has impacted her relationship. Additionally, she reminds us that the most important relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves. Finally, Dr. Griffin gives us examples of other ways intimacy has been important in her life including the many forms of physical touch she enjoys that facilitate connection.
