Difficult, wonderful, awkward, conflicting, funny, sad, joyful....Anyone in HR will tell you that the art of great conversation is a critical skill. They'll also tell you about times when they've been asked to have an awkward or challenging discussion with someone, for themselves but also, on behalf of a line manager.... Cue mass eye roll.
