Honoring Black History Month’s theme of African American and Arts, we got to interview Savannah Woodson, a talented young Black artist to learn more about her journey with art. Savannah, who is originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, is a current sophomore at Spelman College, majoring in Art History. She gave us an inside look into her creative process, the meaning behind some of her iconic pieces, her achievements thus far, and the power of art to represent Black culture. Go check out Savannah's amazing art at https://savannahwart.com/index.html. Thank you Savannah for sharing this space with us! And to those who need a reminder: BHM may have only been 29 days long this year, but at Popping the Bubble, we celebrate every day!
