It feels like in every aspect of life we’re always preparing for the next step. In elementary school you work so hard to prepare for Middle School, then in Middle school you have to work hard to be prepared for high school, then from high school,  it’s college.  After college it’s the workforce, and after work, it’s retirement. When we graduate college or leave high school to start a career, we are working towards making money, providing for ourselves or our family with the end goal of retiring and just enjoying life. But what happens to those who do retire and feel as though they’ve lost all sense of purpose? Can you find a new purpose after retirement? Maybe the life of living on a beach and traveling is not in their cards. Maybe it is. But can you still find fulfillment and a reason for living once everything you knew has vanished? My guest, Linda Grado, on today’s episode shares the reality of what she experienced post retirement and how she decided to use this new season to make a difference and start a business at 66.

If you have recently retired, or are close to it, take a listen and hear Linda’s story as she shares the raw reality of what she experienced post-retirement, and how a new opportunity opened up that gave her a fresh perspective on life. Even if you are not close to retirement, Linda’s story provides a great amount of wisdom and perspective on how you should view YOUR life.
