Time doesn't stop, why would you?
Timeless
Clock on the wall
suspended in time.
Caught right in between the vibrant and faded.
Am I clearly here?
Emerging from my self made coccoon.
Feel the kiss of the Sun on my cheek again.
I trust, vulnerable to you.
Handed over ancient thoughts I treasured.
What was asked of you?
Honor my dreams.
Much of my own life didn't come to fruition.
Thought that you've been sent to
sharpen my clarity.
See it through.
Ain't nobody can stop time.
Yet moments are blended and intertwined.
Night and Day is all that's left to reflect on marked invisible lines.
Still caught in between vibrant and faded.
So many words that can be said to fill the void and make things sound so deep.
Deeply plucked from a thesaurus.
What's left...is weak.
The quiet of the in between speaks louder than any 5 syllable word uttered.
Clock on the wall
suspended in time.
Ever evolving, ever-changing,
ageless, timeless matter that is dark.
