Description

Neka Blair joined me this week to talk about the importance of community through transition and prioritizing health.  Neka served in the Air Force and chose a health care career when she got out.   She started as an EMT, then a medic, and eventually realized the dream of being a nurse.  The fulfillment that she got from watching people arrive with sickness and able to leave healthy was great for Neka.  She loved what she was doing but the constant stress led to her own major health scare, forcing her to choose a new path.

Her story is a beautiful one full of transition and finding where she "belonged" with each change.  After sacrificing her health for so long, she wants to be the example of keeping “your cup full” so you have something to pour into others.
