How to ditch the victim mentality:
Practice self-compassion: Take a moment to appreciate yourself for everything you’ve been through. If you’ve had a traumatic childhood or an incredibly tough journey and feel shame, guilt, anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem I kindly suggest counseling or working with us.
Consider shifting your identity:
Instead of calling yourself a victim, you can identify yourself as a survivor which can be more empowering and create emotional confidence.
Own your story:
Find secure social support where you can reclaim your story to let go of that experience holding you back so you can heal.
