David Burnett is an American photojournalist. He is co-founder of Contact Press Images. In his 60-year career, he has photographed every U.S. president since John F. Kennedy, the astronauts who went to the moon, the Olympics, the Vietnam War, the Iranian Revolution, Hurricane Katrina, as well as the impeachments of Nixon, Clinton and Trump. The American Photo magazine named Burnett one of the "100 Most Important People in Photography".
