Description

October is both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Menopause Awareness Month and today’s conversation is going to bring both of these very important topics to you.

I’m chatting with the lovely Sarah Cawood about her personal journey through menopause, particularly in the context of being a breast cancer survivor. Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago and is navigating her recovery with the challenges of an array of menopause symptoms.

We discuss the challenges of navigating menopause without hormone replacement therapy (HRT), the importance of nutrition and exercise, and the impact of menopause on relationships and intimacy. Sarah shares her experiences with various supplements, the significance of self-care and skincare, and offers practical tips for women facing similar challenges.

We get pretty deep and intimate in this conversation, but do so for a reason - we need to get comfortable talking about menopause, our bodies, and how we’re feeling, so we can support one another and get the help we need to feel healthy and happy.
