Hello Rockstar!
In this episode, I give you the tools to not only to manage change but the tools to decide if you should consider the change or dismiss it. We dig deep into how to attain a balance (or flow) between persisting on our plans or letting them go without feeling like quitters.
There’s been so much “pressure” in the media about having all figure out for this decade that’s just starting that it’s normal to feel overwhelmed -even behind 😱-.
But here’s the thing, we are only 28 days into the next 3650!!! That’s is .7% only 😂 so there’s absolutely no need to feel inadequate for not having it all figured out.
{#notetoself b/c I was starting to feel like this since what I envisioned that was going to be the best year yet through me a curveball right on Jan 6 and I’m still NOT 100% fine... In my process, I’m just getting used to a new reality ... (wow that was a long parenthesis)}
No matter how the year is going so far, we are ONE choice away from stepping into joy so that we live in purpose 🔥⭐️ So how to step into joy? into purpose? Focus on one thing (little or small) that you can do today (daily) that future you will be freakin’ proud of! In this episode, we’ll explore how to decide on that one thing and start finding your flow without losing your vision. I will use my own very recent experience about facing and managing change, like losing my father-in-law and changing the format of the show to illustrate practical examples. I can’t wait to hear from you the results of the experiment proposed.
Let’s dive in,

SHOW NOTES
How do we land the plane regarding managing change? There is an 8-step model to manage change according to Leadership Expert John Kotter, And it basically goes like this. For change to happen,
We need to create the urgency
Form a powerful coalition
Create a vision
Communicate the vision
Remove obstacles
Create short term wins
Build on the Change
Anchor the Changes in Corporate Culture
When we have a small business, are starting as an entrepreneur or are in the corporate race, most of the changes that come to threaten our plans come from outside forces.
Many times forcing us to be in a state of urgency that can turn into overwhelm and anxiety.
And guys this is very important to understand so that you stay focused on the ultimate dream/vision/goal. Here’s the thing, if we want to create a sustainable business or career, WE CANNOT TREAT every single shit that happens to us into a major change urgency. As long as we are clear on the vision, there are many things that life throws at us that need to be considered as detours but the destination stays the same.
THE EXPERIMENT
This is what I suggest, as I’ve been forced to go back to basics this month, with so many unforeseen variables thrown at me
