Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
This week for Sofie's Choice, she has carefully chosen a very special episode to mark this American holiday: The Wendigo! This is also our first cryptid story we'll be covering, as we'll be sure to cover more in the future. Deeply rooted in Native American Lore, the Wendigo is a very old and very real story that goes back generations. Follow along as Sofie gives us a layout of how the legend got started and how it's even been used in court as a defense plea. Gabbi even goes more in depth in her own Native American roots through her grandmother's trials and errors as well as the strength she's been passed down through the bloodline.
