I always wanted to be a writer, but was told that it wasn't a practical career. So I pursued a career in publishing instead. After the job market crashed in 2009, I found myself between jobs and my roommate's dad, an attorney, offered to give me some work. I started writing blog posts for him and then for his associate and some friends of mine. I eventually got another day job, but kept writing on the side. I quit the day job about seven and a half years ago and have been writing full time ever since. I work with businesses that need to demonstrate their expertise through content marketing. I help them to tell their story in a way that their target audience will understand and see the value in what they're offering. Telling stories comes naturally to me and.
