I never thought about working in finance, though, until I moved to Canada and started taking some classes. I realized that I loved finance and I was really good at it. I decided to make it my major and I haven't looked back since.I'm always looking for ways to grow and improve, so a few years ago I joined a Toastmasters club. Toastmasters has been a great way for me to overcome my fear of public speaking and become more confident. I'm now the President of my club and I'm working towards giving a Ted Talk.I believe that public speaking is important for all women, as it makes us more confident and credible. I want to be a role model for other young women, showing them that it is possible to pursue a nontraditional career path and be successful.Urmi is a Canadian finance professional who is passionate about self-growth and helping others.
