Rick Homuth (@RJHomuth) and Charlie Weitkamp both spent their teenage years going to punk shows in Kansas City. Rick has since moved to Chicago, but is currently back in town for KC Fringe Fest. He wrote the play Neighborhood Goons about some of the ridiculous people and situations he encountered in his new city. Charlie was in charge of set design and has written other Fringe Fest productions in the past. We also talked about Rick's writing at punk satire site The Hard Times and the Chicago tradition of tricking people into drinking Malört.
Details on how to see Neighborhood Goons can be found here: https://
