Here now is our feature length commentary of the greatest rampaging teenagers film of all time, in my humble opinion. Better jump in the bushes because here’s 1979’s Over the Edge. Oh it’s so destructive!
Teens living in a sterile planned community with only a rec center to hang out in, proceed to lose their flippin minds when it closes due to “the man”
Matt Dillon is here in his first film . Dillon is pure magic in a half shirt. He has said that at 14 he auditioned for this film only to skip school, actually all the kids in here are great and newcomers to film. There is nice character actor glue here too help hold it all together. Look for the tie dye Jefferson starship t shirt, Sylvester Stallone shirt Kiss shirt and on and on. Also enjoy as TIP and his freaked out mom listed only as Tip’s mom are played by real life Mother and son Eric and Irene lalich. This film is many things inculding non stop quotable “a kid who tells on a kid is a dead kid.” This is first feature film of director Jonathan Kaplan, I can’t write anymore I need just put my headphones on n drift away with some choice cheap trick.
