Ok so Hal Ashby directed 7 films in the 1970’s and your fearless decade under the influence crew is going to eventually watch and report on six of them. Harold and Maude is perhaps the most loved and well known of the bunch. I feel this movie to be magical and fierce and liberating. Dark yet wise revolutionary and also quite peaceful. Like punk rock as a teen this film saved my life.
