Description

Time today to look back to a time when John Voight wasn’t an asshat. Fonda’s still cool. Anyways, today we are showcasing the mighty Coming Home 1978. Directed by Hal Ashby and starring Jane Fonda, Bruce Dern, Penelope Milford, Robert Carradine, and a way cooler John Voight.

Surviving vets and actors tell a story of 1968 in 1978, and yes you will hear Simon and Garfunkel’s bookends, and every other period appropriate song with the word time in it.

I find this film to be beautiful, horrible, sad and hopeful. I guess that’s many 70’s movies, but also this one in particular. Never ceases to give me the feels, especially when that Tim Buckley song starts. Cyber hugs to everyone out there and thank you for listening. We’d love to hear from you.
