What can possibly be said about this classic film. This updated interpretation of the holy gospel according to Mathew. This film that documents a time in the early 70’s when some young people quit their jobs, took acid and followed a super hero with a rad fro, who could be a bit preachy and wouldn’t shut the heck up about god. Actually we can say a lot, at least 2 hours worth. We even got a friend Vicki to help us weed through all things Godspell.
Are you a music theater nerd, or just another kid who grew up in the 70’s with this record, and had nuns with guitars chasing you to soothing tune of day by day? Whether it’s those reasons or some weird third thing, this podcast is for you.
