Hola! In this episode I was joined by Michael Lemus - a Latino Entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Reclaiming Your Happiness with Lemus LLC, Content Creator and Life Coach. We spoke about how as FirstGens we were laser focused on the success path that our parents and society had set out for us without realizing that we were not being our true selves in the process. Michael shares with us the interesting story of how his spiritual awakening started in 2018 and the way that it has steered him in the direction of redefining his vision of success and prioritizing his emotional well being above all. Seeing the lack of representation of FirstGen Latinos / Latinas / Latines going through Spiritual Awakenings on social media platforms inspired us both to post content about this topic and I am so excited that we joined forces on this episode to further discuss.
Get to Know Michael: Michael Lemus is the Founder and CEO of Reclaiming Your Happiness with Lemus LLC, an inclusive platform and business dedicated to helping people find their voice, reclaim their happiness, and align themselves with their life goals. Michael identifies as a first generation college graduate/professional. He is a latino content creator, life coach, strategic brand consultant, and speaker. He also is the creator of Scholars of Color, which is a platform where scholars of color are purposefully celebrated and showcased front and center. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Higher Education.
