Description

“I just want to genuinely help people” - that’s the desire that once made our guest, Cheryl Rogers, think she was meant to be a doctor, but ultimately made her realize her perfect fit was in Civil Engineering!

Cheryl serves as a civil engineer for the city of Boerne, Texas, where she LOVES working as a public servant to improve the city for her fellow citizens.

I love so many things about this episode, but I was especially taken by Cheryl’s story. She’s a people-person who has a deep desire to feel like she’s personally helping improve the lives of others in an impactful way.

Side note: you’ll HAVE to stick around to the end to hear her crazy story of how God graciously guided her and her husband to their dream jobs, even when it seemed difficult and looked like they had to keep going back and forth with sacrificing their career moves for one another. In the end, she shares how she realized God was truly working all things to their good, and how everything fell into place in her career!

Enjoy!
