In this episode, Allison Liddle interviews David Lippiatt. David Lippiatt is the cofounder, President and CEO of WE International Inc. (Est. 2007), an NGO that addresses poverty and injustice issues in less developed countries. He is a multi-invitational speaker at the United Nations. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with degree in Philosophy and International Relations, and has a certificate in Foreign Policy from Oxford University, England. And he is currently enrolled in the in Notre Dame University Executive Leadership Certificate Program. His faith, heart of compassion and desire for justice is the driving force behind what causes him to respond to the overwhelming amount of global poverty and injustice issues affecting women, children and men in less developed countries.
David and Allison discuss how WE International, Inc is working to help women and girls affected by gender-based violence through education, microloans, support, and raising funds. WE International solves the problem of school dropout and lack of education through WE Educate. WE Empower helps support families with basic needs and financial stability through education and microloans. WE Challenge are transformational trips to raise awareness and funds for supporting gender-based violence.
