Welcome to the Modern Matters', first ever podcast. We are excited to share our unapologetic and authentic perspectives. Hosts: Candice, a former makeup artist who has worked in the film/bridal industries with a background in aesthetics, and serial entrepreneur. Kristina (aka Special K), author and motivational speaker formerly a corporate HR leader for large multi-million-dollar companies. Bret, a photographer and graphic designer with a degree in media studies and psychology who began his own business in graphic design/ photography and videography.
This podcast will cover various topics, some that are trending, and general conversation pieces.
The value of respectable open conversation is seemingly a dying art. What we may not agree with, we can learn from, and agreeing to disagree, is just fine too. The podcast is a perspective shared by average people who may seem ordinary but when you add that “extra” we can all agree it's what makes each successful growing human extraordinary, like all of you. The hosts of Modern Matters Podcast want to share a message of conversations that allow us growth, humility and awareness. The podcast is a platform to exchange ideas and positive information not only between the hosts but viewers and listeners alike.
Meet the crew: CANDICE, KRISTINA & BRET
Candice has a passion for building relationships with people but knows first-hand that the work we do within has to come first. Kristina the author of the book “The Authentic You” knows her hands on experience has much to offer people and she wants to share what she knows. As our host Bret describes in episode 1, it’s a way for him to sharpen his creative pencil. The synergy the group has and the guests that future episodes will host is going to make for a podcast journey worth tuning in to.
Each episode will feature serious chats to serious laughs courtesy of online videos that have been curated by Bret to which you will get some real reactions from Candice and Kristina.
