Dan Campion is a podcaster, podcast producer and owner of Prymal Productions, and a good friend and mentor of mine. Myself and Dan crossed paths just under a year ago when I was getting started on my podcasting journey. The conversation always flows between us, so I had to have him back on to discuss one of the greatest books ever written that is 'How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.
This book is regarded as a manual for life and has proven techniques that will teach you how to change people's behaviour by changing your own, how to communicate more effectively, enhance your people skills, become a leader and how to resolve any arguments that you may encounter. I loved reading and listening to this book and have applied the principles directly to my everyday engagements with anyone that I meet with great success.
The principles that we discuss are:
-Don't criticise, condemn or complain
-Be honest and sincere in appreciation
-Become genuinely interested in other people
-Smile
-You can't win an argument
