This one is for all my girlies who love a dark period piece. This week's episode cover's Sam Claflin's 2017 film, My Cousin Rachel. Never did we intend for movies about being in love with your cousin to become a theme on this podcast, and yet, here we are. This film, starring Rachel Weiss, is an adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's 1951 novel of the same name. As we all know, women are dangerous and this film very importantly warns us that we may all be driven mad by our love for Rachel Weiss. While critics love this film, audiences disagreed, provoking us to ask "are these characters and plot underdeveloped on purpose for mystery, or is this just bad writing?" Support women's wrongs.
