Once in a generation, a podcast like this gets to get meta. This week is our sacred week as we, film lovers historians, and podcasters get to review a movie steeped in history, in which Tessa Thompson plays a film lover and a radio show host. Ok, it’s not a perfect parallel, but it’s close enough for us! This episode covers Dear White People, a 2014 film that inspired the 2017 TV show. We do our best to unpack this movie, understanding full well that we can never understand everything this film has to say about the Black experience. We hope you enjoy!
