In this episode, Oisin Fagan tells his very unique boxing story. After having a successful amateur football career in Ireland, he would be offered the opportunity to move to Oklahoma, USA on a soccer scholarship. After getting his degree he would fall on some hard times which included having to sleep in the back of his car. He would then turn to professional boxing at 30 years of age to make some money. He would gradually begin to see success and claim the Oklahoma State title before returning home to capture the Irish Lightweight title at the National Stadium. Oisin would go on to share the ring with 3 world champions, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Paul Spadadora and Amir Khan. Oisin never lacked heart and achieved a lot in a short space of time. He is now giving back to the youth by coaching boxing in schools with the IABA.
