Description

This week, Joe talks with his friend Glenn about Watchmen.

This is a full spoilers conversation, so please keep that in mind if you have never read Watchmen and don't want to be spoiled on anything that happens.

Watchmen is a 12 issue series that was published by DC Comics between May 1986 and July 1987, and is widely regarded as one of the best comics of all time. It was written by Alan Moore, drawn and lettered by Dave Gibbons, and colored by John Higgins.

We talk about the characters, the themes, the craft of the comic and more. We also discuss the live action movie adaptation, directed by Zack Snyder and released in 2009.

At the end of the episode, we cover the discourse around Alan Moore, and Glenn tells me about Before Watchmen, a series of prequel comics.
