Spike is a former soldier and peace activist. He talks us through his upbringing in Glasgow during the 1960s and 70s before detailing his experiences as a soldier in Ireland during the troubles. We discuss the hunger strikes, the Brighton bombing, as well as Spike's time in Hong Kong while in the military.
We also go over the struggles a veteran experiences, including addiction, violence and PTSD.
