On October 1st 1986 Tracy Gilpin left a party in the Rocky Nook neighborhood of Kingston MA. She walked up Route 3A to a Cumberland Farms to buy a pack of cigarettes and was never seen alive again. Weeks following her disappearance Tracy’s body was found in Myles Standish State Forest. With little to no evidence and DNA in its infancy the case grew cold and Tracy’s murder became one of Massachusetts most prolific unsolved cases. Until decades later in 2018 when everything changed.
In this episode we discuss this horribly tragic case of Tracy Gilpin and the family, community and investigators who never gave up hope.
