In January of 1998 Tom and Elieen had just finished their two-year tour with the Peace Corps and decided to celebrate 10 years of marriage with a scuba diving excursion across the world. They started their journey with a place they had always dreamed of diving, The Great Barrier Reef.

But on January 25th, 1998, the couple experienced a nightmarish turn of events as they are accidentally abandoned in open water on St. Crispin's Reef. But did they drown on the reef after being left at sea? Or did something more mysterious happen?
